What do I need to know about Kardi?

Loan in LBP:

• The LBP loan duration ranges between 1 & 4 years (might be extended to 5 years in case of salary domiciliation)
• The interest applied :
  • Between 1 & 3 years: a flat interest rate of 11% per annum
    OR
    4 years: a flat interest rate of 12% per annum
• The interest rate includes a life insurance policy covering the amount of the outstanding loan amount

Loan in USD:

• The USD loan duration ranges between 1 & 4 years (might be extended to 5 years in case of salary domiciliation)
• The interest applied is: 8.85% per annum
• The interest rate includes a life insurance policy covering the amount of the outstanding loan amount

What are the requirements for applying for Kardi?

For Employees:

• Permanent job
• In case of salary domiciliation: one guarantor
• Without salary domiciliation: two guarantors
• The monthly bill should not exceed 33% of the monthly salary in case of salary domiciliation, and 25% of the monthly salary in case of no salary domiciliation

For Self Employed:

• Proof of income
• Statement of account(s) for the last six months
• Two guarantors (could be waived depending on the file)
• The monthly bill should not exceed 25% of the monthly income

For Professionals:

• Syndicate membership ID (if obtainable)
• Proof of income
• Statement of account(s) for the last six months
• Two guarantors (could be waived depending on the file)
• The monthly bill should not exceed 25% of the monthly income
